Location
Zafarana Beach Resort is located between the town of Zafarana and the Red Sea coastline in a virgin and recently discovered diving and snorkelling area. There are several relatively unknown shipwrecks within the Zafarana area which are currently serviced by stay aboard boat cruises. The resort stretches down to the sea and offers fabulous opportunities for sport and recreation, both on and under the water, with fantastic diving facilities, unspoilt coral reefs teaming with tropical fish, situated just off the developments private beach.
The resort also provides excellent access to St Anthony's and St Paul's Monasteries with tours readily available.
Zafarana Beach Resort is situated approximately two and a half hours north of Hurghada and one and a half hours south of Cairo; both of these cities have international airports with both chartered and direct flights from the United Kingdom. Limo and bus transfers are available.
There is an airport being planned at Ain Soukhna approximately half an hour north of the resort, which will provide excellent access for visitors and investors alike, this is due for completion in 2010.
